About Radio Australasia

Radio Australasia was formed in 2001 by Radio Broadcaster and lecturer Ben Starr, with business partner Patrick Kayrooz, to take commercial radio practices and incorporate them into medium and large corporations so as to raise their public profiles among their client base using the power of sound.

Ben Starr

Ben has been in the radio-broadcasting field for over nineteen years. He has worked for some of the biggest radio networks including the Australian Radio Network and Macquarie Radio Network on Radio 2CH, Sydny's flagship for Easy Listening.

In early 2000, Ben was approached by Petersham TAFE College NSW to head a new course titled 'Radio Broadcasting'. Ben currently lectures in Radio Broadcasting, writes and produces radio programming and is the host of The Ballroom Glitz.

Patrick Kayrooz

Patrick has had many years of leadership roles in Business, Education and Training. Patrick established Australia's most innovative corporate gifting company Wots In A Box in 1995. His vision set new standards in corporate gifting in Australia. After being bought out in 2000, Patrick has consulted to businesses both in Australia and abroad on branding and positioning, marketing and communication strategies. He has numerous degrees, including a Masters in Education.
